The shorts are JUST within the bounds of good taste, but the thong? And both together? That image is so much stranger than a man wearing a skirt. I agree that it should remain - good call.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

Whats been sold as shorts in the last dozen years looked like capri length baggy pants for men and I didn't see the point. If you want to be cool you need a wear a real pair of shorts. Which are now apparently called Short Shorts...

That image was not especially edifying, however, that was his choice.
As for the "shorts/tights combination", it's a teenage fashion, roughly speaking.
How many, here could honestlly, carry it off?

"AVOID THE BOARD SHORTS AT ALL COSTS" !
To find 'Short Shorts' go across the aisle but with the low rise and less than 1 inch inseam there is no room for the equipment.
Why bother - just take a good pair of fitted pants and lop them off with a 3-4 inch inseam and everything should be OK !
Best left to a tailor or seamstress least you botch the job and have a carnival act (one leg longer than the other) !
On another note - a (denim) mini-skirt works just as good if not better - what is it with this crotch piece inseam (bifurcated) ?

Found a picture of me in the early 70s, as far as I am concerned short shorts never went out of fashion.
