Indian fashion
Indian fashion
Stumbled across this report, no comments posted on this but I think the article is generally positive and both the styles pictured are more wearable than most of the 'designer' offerings.

Re: Indian fashion
Good designs, no doubt costing way too much! I like them both. The red is a lovely rich colour which I would like to have in my wardrobe!

Re: Indian fashion
I thought they both worked quite well, I don't agree the silhouete was particularly feminine once you get past the idea of a skirt. Bit too complex for me, prefer simpler outfits. I have been wanting to get down to a local Indian fabric/clothing store that my GF likes, want to experimant with a Kurta, I think it's called, but I wnat to see if I can wear one around knee length as a dress. Either with bare legs, or leggings, or even stockings, and make the look work for me.
Re: Indian fashion
I like the look, but where would you go with that? The Opera?

Re: Indian fashion
I liked the juxtaposition of the two men in skirts with the women in jeans in the article below! It's the future, you know, and you saw it first in the Daily Wail!

Re: Indian fashion
The only nit I'll pick is the presence of a "jacket" with a relatively closed neck - neither of which really excite me. Other than that, darn fine looking outfits, especially the red one!
Re: Indian fashion
It looks good but I'm not sure when to wear that

Re: Indian fashion
The "red" outfit, I'd wear in a heartbeat, if I thought I could carry it off and, or, afford it.
I'd change the footwear to suit the Scottish climate and lose what looks like the trousers the model has on.
Real surprise from that particular "rag".
Steve.

Re: Indian fashion
Well OK, but I took a shot of this lovely Indian family in national dress at the recent Diwali festival here.
That long kurter could be worn by any male anywhere. I'll look into getting one of those.

Is this the "red outfit"? I'd get one of those myself.

Not for me - I haven't the bust or the waist for it!!!!
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.
