Even during those troubling times at hand, I feel confident I will be able to go to the beach before the season is over. With that in mind I made a skirt that is very light and easy to put on and pull off. It is an A-line circle skirt of lightweight denim with a zipper over the full height of the front. Since last year I try to have the skirts sitting at my waist line instead of my hips. For that you need a little more flare directly below the waistband. This skirt is still a tad tight around the hips so I need a larger hem. I will do that with my next skirt.

It is hardly to believe with the current cool weather I will walk around is just this (without the heels that is).

I do hope that you will wear a top of some sort with that skirt.

What is wrong with a polo shirt? Or is my lack of fashion and color sense too obvious?

BL I see nothing wrong with the top you are wearing and the skirt is just fantastic. I think it looks just fine the way it is.

Only at the beach I might be topless. But also skirtless. ;)

I made a bigger brother for the last skirt. It is slightly longer and has a larger hem. And there is a zipper along the whole front.

Now the temperature has to go up and the virus has to go down before I can go to the beach.

Your latest creation hangs really well on you. It looks as though it will give you plenty of freedom of movement. I particularly like the detail of the fastening. Are they studs?

Those two shiny things are snaps. You punch holes in the fabric, put the right combination of parts together in each part of the fabric and hammer them. I tried to make button holes first but the fabric was too thick so I had to go to Plan B.

It looks like a simple operation but you need a clear head to assemble the four parts in the correct order and orientation and on the correct pieces of fabric. ;)

A good solution. I favour them as they’re what’s on my utility kilts

The light grey fabric is a nice fabric for summer skirts. I made another one, this time a wide circle skirt that looks like a skater skirt. Total length is 40 cm (15.5") and will give a lot of ventilation during hot summer days, if they are ever coming.

I made so many skirts, I'm running dry on ideas for new models. ;)

I think the last 3 skirts are great . I especially like the one with the full length zipper.

That outfit with the shirt you had on looks normal and natural.

I do like the heels better than the flats so when do you start production
