Even before I surfed the Internet for mans skirts, I was already making a skirt from old jeans. Knowing now that I'm not the only one, I feel not so silly. Without a sewing machine I had to hand stitch so it is quite crude. But acceptable and the feeling when walking is great.

I "found" several pairs of jeans in my closet that I haven't worn in years. I think I'll get my seam ripper out, stitch in a bright colored gore front and back, and have me some new skirts!

Why not use the "Cut-Off" legs as the source of material :?:
Then you could add a box-pleat front & back :D
