Sarongs and other wrap around skirts.

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Site with Celtic sarongs. (As improbable as that might sound).

I noticed an implication-"celtic sarongs" are only for women.

I have bought a couple of sarongs from here:-

http://www.georgiaoriginale.com/Sarongs_unisex.htm

A bit more expensive compared to the one I bought on holiday but they clearly indicate that they are Unisex garments and the quality is good.

Perhaps unisex will become the only option for males. I took a look at a kikoy site, and apparently their sarongs are intended for women only. For men the site offers...trousers.

I was reading that men may wear the pareo/pareu as "shorts". Something to consider if you design a sarong for men.
