We Aren’t Trannies, We Are Realists

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

We Aren’t Trannies, We Are Realists

Post by ziggy_encaoua »

Often we all point out that we aren’t trannies because we don’t try to pass ourselves as women, we are generally not into ‘lets pretend’ rather we believe in gender honesty. But personally in my opinion we are realists, we don’t want to indulge in fantasy we want to concentrate in reality.

What do folk reckon?

I agree at that day to day all of us in this forum are realists.

But sometimes, it is fun to dress up and play make believe.

That's a pretty good beginning. I suppose if we were all "hard-core" realists we'd figure out pretty quick that we're in such a miniscule minority that we'd get discouraged really quickly and toss the whole notion aside (although that has a dose of fatalism in it).

Perhaps "realists with individuality and drive"?

Fantasy?

Post by JRMILLER »

Well look, for the sake of public appearances, I am a realist. On the other hand, I have taken a skirt out in public on my otherwise male appearing body so perhaps I am a dreamer.

In more private situations, I love fantasy -- I just do.
