World Cup fashion

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

World Cup fashion

No, I have not been watching the footie. I don't watch sport and in any case I am Scottish. Obviously even sport-haters can't escape this and I see from reports on the News that many western football supporters in Qatar are wearing Arab robes (Dishdash?). It just shows that when away from home a lot of guys are more relaxed about abandoning their trousers for greater comfort.

Could be “when in Rome” or maybe it’s just that hot that it’s somewhat of a necessity. There’s likely a reason they wear what they wear.

Absolutely true Rivegauche, and in a far more conservative culture as well.
Would it not be great if they returned with that "laid back" attitude?
More than likely to simply revert to type though.
Steve.
PS no fan of the football thing either and I despair of men who have no other topic of conversation in them.
To be fair, that isn't limited to Scotsmen or women either.
