Hats and watches are back in style!

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Those pictures reminded me of the ballroom
scene from the movie "Beauty And The Beast" :D

With a bit of adjustment, I rather like the clock dress.
Something that just tickles my fancy.

Timepieces only count if they actually keep time. (Although in many cases, a stopped watch is still right twice a day.)

Neither (is the clock pants?) are particularly off putting - however something about them gives me a Hunger Games vibe.

It would be handy for others if the clock worked.
The lampshade signifies a bright idea.

If the clock is pants Coder, I'd have it in the form of a kaftan dress which is something I have yet to try out.

Carl, I am sure that that the boffins could devise a way of creating a working time display within the fabric, perhaps with chimes too?
Ah, whimsy, so good for the soul in these woe begotten times!
Steve.
It is 06:40 here and I must get going for work.
After that, I feel that the day merits a dress, just got to figure which?

Regarding the second picture, if you want to wear a lampshade on your head, you can get one for MUCH cheaper at Home Depot or Bed, Bath & Beyond.
I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman.

One could get creative and put a battery and LED in the lampshade.

The pendulum of fashion swings again, though I'm not sure I would have the time for that outfit, I would be constantly checking myself in the mirror.

Still, the leading lights that utilised the lampshade are doing their bit for recycling I suppose, though if it were turned into a skirt, that would be better, but probably too much tassel....

5 months is a long time to be temporally confused.
Mitre be better if I just forget all about it.
What am I supposed to be forgetting?
