Hanging straps

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

What is there to explain - someone went off on a goofy tangent - too many remnants left over at the garment factory !

And you call this fashion - only in the eye of the beholder - - -

Yes officer I have my seat belt fastened - see all these straps neatly low on the waist as suggested ---
Ahem we don't see what the straps at the back are fastened to ?
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Here is a more sensible item. I have tried braces (suspenders) with a mini skirt and was alarmed at the amount of hoisting up when bending.

I wear braces/suspenders on a regular basis too.
The trick with a short skirt is to rotate them over the shoulders so the back is lower than the front.
It also helps to let them hang slightly lower than if you were wearing trousers.
I have found them almost as comfortable as wearing a dress and the advantage of not having to be worried about the consequences of a fluctuating waistline.
