Womens underwear

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

In such case, you'd likely need a "cheerleaders figure" which is something most of us probably lost at best, twenty years ago, and you'd probably want to practice "tucking" which a) doesn't sound comfortable AT ALL, and b) most definitely is NOT what this site is about.

Other than that, it's probably best to choose skirts that don't show underwear during normal activity unless one wants to spend a few nights in the clink.

Also to Brad's point, both activities are quite specialised and border on, or get right into, performance art. Neither is a style one would see normally worn on the street in a casual setting. There's also that old double-standard in play that allows women the ability to flash a bit but denies it to men. Go figure, but that's not a hill I feel like trying to take.

That's the double-standard in action.

There was a member called "Knickerless" (thankfully he never was  ) who posted a picture of himself in not a very demure pose at the bottom of a kiddies helter skelter slide at Westfield shopping mall a few years back  I think the picture was kept for posterity for what should NOT be posted. As most women would be horrified showing tomorrows laundry, I'm sure most skirted folk here would behave just as carefully and watch how they sit...

Though such items are part of our wardrobe, this isn't PantiesCafé  so no need to mention types, styles... just see what works for you

I totally get what you're saying, pictures like that have no place here, there's plenty of other platforms for images like that, but I can't help but think it would be nice to be able to chat about such things in there own little forum.

I have no wish to chat about underwear. I’m very happy with the options available to me in the gents’ section. What I wear from there is private to me.

Well before this topic gets locked.....
I would like to say my piece such as it is. There used to be a forum called "He Wears Panties" it was a great forum much like Skirt Cafe, but it was shut down by the owner without warning so now there isn't any place for folks to go and talk about what they wear under their skirts.
It was not a cross dresser site or a trans site. Some of the folks here may have been members of that site, I was and was also a moderator on that site. So I understand what our mods go through on a daily basis. This site is about skirts and other unbifurcated garments (0) and should try to keep the topics in line with that premise. It helps make the moderators life easier.

I've heard of vintage men's swimsuits that resembled modern day women's swimsuits... this was back in the day (1920s) when it was considered taboo/illegal for men to go around bare chested and had to wear "onesie" swimsuits.

Interestingly I read somewhere (I can't remember where) that some of these male swimsuits included a little skirt stitched into the garment so as to conceal the "highly offensive buldge".

Nevertheless, I suppose a man could wear one of those under his cheerleader skirt and get by... after all, it's technically not "underwear" and you'd think would pass the morality police of today seeing as how it was mandated a hundred years ago... you know back when women showing an ankle was considered downright pornographic!

Anyway... check out these examples...

I'd actually LOVE to procure something like this for myself!
Also note how men were "allowed" to put their arms around each other without it being considered gaaaaaaaay....

I thinks this topic goes against the board rules, we do not discuss underwear garments on here. :D :D :D
I cannot tell if this discussion is tongue-in-cheek, but my understanding of the spirit of the law (vs. the letter of the law) is to have a hedge against discussions that frequently devolve into fetish-related comments or X-rated images. I don't mind discussing the comfort of this particular garment, but I do agree that I would rather not see pictures of members'... members, as it were.

I've had strangers (usually women) ask me what I wear under my skirt - so I look down and say "Boots".

I've been to ballet performances where the male dancers wear dance tights that show a male profile. This is an artistic performance and not normal street wear. However people do not seem offended by it.

Try it on Main Street and see what sort of response you get. The stage is one thing; real life in the real world is something else.

While I can agree with you Skirted Marine.

I agree with a majority of the others, that this topic should be avoided, I appreciate the family friendlyness of the skirt CAFE. And I don't want to see that destroyed.
I have left other forums due to vulgar members and vulgar pictures. Somethings should remain a mystery.

I'm sure there are members here that would not mind PM chatting about this topic. For the most part let's keep it off the main Skirt cafe.

There are many other great topics to exhaust here at the café.

( I'm open for PM chat as long as it's not for vulgar reasons)

I dunno, are pantyhose underwear? A portion of them are purposely exposed. Things that make you say hmm.
