Asymmetrical top worn with a skirt
I am curious if anyone has ever worn an asymmetrical top with a skirt? I found some very nice tops like this on Dresslily. I searched for pictures of women wearing such attire and cannot find anyone doing such. Most blouses are symmetrical at the bottom. Here is a link to one of the tops I ordered. https://www.dresslily.com/m-gallery-id- ... tm?index=0

I have a striped asymmetric top that I wear with a cream skirt. It looks good.

MOH wears what are called waterfall tops. The sides are longer than the back and front. I'm not that keen on them but am not confident on expressing that disapproval so I keep quiet.

I love the shirt and skirt. I had to look at the picture three times to figure out what I felt was "off". It is the black shoes with a brown skirt!!! My wife always reminds me to try and wear my brown shoes with brown skirts.FranTastic444 wrote:I found this image on Pinterest. I think it is a good look (but not totally sold on the stockings).

FFA, It's not wisdom - it's called self-preservation!!!!

Re: Asymmetrical top worn with a skirt
I have quite a few assymetric tops, and some with split backs, bat wing sleeves etc...
I think the trick is they need to be fitted-ish in the body - and the drapey bits give interest.
If the garment is all baggy and not fitted then it won't look right.
I also believe a fitted top half looks best with the likes of an a line skirt etc - like in that picture.
