Legitimizing a Day in a Dress for Men

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

I once wore a skirt to work for Halloween. It was fun for many people. I loved being able to go to work dressed in something nice. I felt great. We went out to eat as a group (a couple were in costumes). But, I never went to work again in a skirt. I would have loved to, but I was not going to cross that line. To them, it was a costume.

I presume that if we had a day for men to wear dresses/skirts, we would not likely start wearing fashion freedom items after that day (if we hadn't been wearing them before that day). But, we would be happy to do it once per year.

(I don't wear dresses for Halloween now. It is not a costume for me. If I am going to wear it, it is legitimate if it is not Halloween.)
