But as to skirt-wearing in public, if you keep it up, I'm sure you'll find that the senses of dread and of everyone watching you with hostility are much more self-generated than by the actual people around you. 99% of the mainstream either don't care of just say, "Oh well."
Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.
