I recently found this page from a guy in Toronto who wears short skirts and women's shoes. I think he looks good. What do you think?

Yes, he looks fine to me, very confident, comfortable, and natural.

But have I really seen so many photos of skirted men not that they actually seem, "normal?"

Just goes to show, I guess, that you can get used to almost anything.

His look is a workable one, but he does seem to be a bit of a "one-trick pony".

I cannot imagine something that short in the midst of a Canadian Winter. The place isn't known as "The Great White North" for no reason.

Maybe in a long coat, or with snow pants. I'm sure he stays inside most of the time anyway.

Sorry, it doesn't work for me. On the one hand, I like the idea, of a short skirt, but the whole package looks wrong. I can't quite define what I don't like, but the GF made the comment that it looks out of proportion, which it does. To me, the top and bottom have different feels, I'd almost prefer to have a floaty top half, and I'm not a fan of those either.

It's not my style either; I much prefer knee length. But who knows what's in fashion for men's skirts? Because the drapes multi-layer ensembles the fashion houses keep showing don't appeal to me either.

But if that's what he likes, and if he can be comfortable and enjoy his clothes in public, why not? He's one more guy spreading the notion of men in skirts.

And I still find him shockingly non-shocking. One part of me says I ought to be shocked but the rest takes it in stride. I guess that's progress.

I agree with partlyscot's GF: the look is unbalanced. The loose-fitting shirts dominate the skirts. The skirts should be longer, but judging by the titles he has given his photos, he is more interested in showing off his pantyhosed legs. Exceptions are the one with opaque black tights, which team up with his black skirt to balance things out, and the one at the science centre, in which the shorter and tighter-waisted top give the skirt enough exposure.

In the comments he says that his skirts are all kilts, from utkilts, made to his specifications. And his tights are made for men, by glieberman (and maybe others). Interesting that he buys from manufacturers aiming at men, considering how far away his look is from your average Kiltie.

But it's still good to see one more skirted man out there!

Yes, I think that's true. I think the pantyhose are more important to him than the skirts.

He does seem to like the skirts, too, though; otherwise, he'd probably have some shots of himself in the shirts-and-tights fashion.

Yes in every photo the shirts ARE NOT TUCKED INTO THE WAIST !
So it is difficult to tell the HEM length whether it be at the kilt waist
navel or somewhere south of that point. Also no idea if the waist
is elastic or has a zipper button Velcro belted fastening ?

Appears that he enjoys showing off his amazon legs - nice pegs !
Does a good job of the footwear complimenting his skirted wear.

Comments about wearing short skirts/kilts in the winter are somewhat
unfounded. One would be surprised of how much cold can be tolerated
by the legs in the cold. Pantyhose/tights help here - leggings/jeggings
will insulate more. The legs are one of the last body member to freeze.
The fingers and toes go first followed by facial features.
I would know I live in the WindChill factory of the upper Midwest -
Minnesota. Cold temperatures and rapid moving air and the unprotected
skin time of exposure is rated in minutes not hours. But put on a layer
of clothing and stand in the sun out of the wind and while unpleasant
it is hackable until you get the urge notion move to seek decent shelter !
"Dummy 101" come on in out of the cold least you get your death a cold !

Tucking in shirts inside the skirt waist band I don't know if that would make
much of difference. I always tuck my shirts in and the outer sweater worn
over the shirts is allowed to rest freely. But leaving the shirts untucked seems
like leaving something undone - just not quite right ! But good for this bloke
breaking the ice with the ease of showing how it is done - albeit not much
in a crowded public area.

He says he goes out in crowded public areas, and he certainly appears in uncrowded ones. I suppose he just finds it awkward to set up his tripod in a crowd of people. Or maybe he dislikes the additional attention it draws.
