Kathleen Meets Morgan

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Kathleen Meets Morgan

Post by dillon »

This is an Etsy shop, and though the things are well out of my price range, they had some interesting stuff. The garments are made-to-order and you can get a range of fabrics and modifications, I would presume. Its certainly a shop for someone wanting unique stuff and for whom price is only a minor consideration.

This men's long skirt looks great, though I would think you would have to leave it unbuttoned almost to the knee to have a normal stride. https://www.etsy.com/listing/220358065/ ... ome_feat_1

I thought this dress was pretty unique and certainly adaptable to a man if the top dimensions and shoulder-to-waist length was modified. https://www.etsy.com/listing/68526068/c ... e_active_4

Another design that I thought would be man-adaptable; I'd prefer a skirt to the gauchos, naturally. https://www.etsy.com/listing/32363308/c ... _active_17

Reversible skirt. https://www.etsy.com/listing/36433412/c ... _active_19

Wrap skirt. https://www.etsy.com/listing/37539482/c ... _active_22

Another dress I liked though not sure I would be bold enough to wear it. https://www.etsy.com/listing/51366569/c ... e_active_9

That skirt is intriguing, but as you say a bit too rich for my blood. I'm interested in his shirt however. I'd like one like it.

Another Etsy shop, U.S. https://www.etsy.com/listing/200306084/ ... gallery_13

And France https://www.etsy.com/listing/102385385/ ... _gallery_7

And I'd like this one, if I was confident in the fit; the price is right. https://www.etsy.com/listing/218543044/ ... gallery_30

Much too rich for my blood also. I can see where the first two outfits could be a win for men if the tops were modified for a mans proportions. Add about 2 inches to the torso length and perhaps an extra button on the jumper.
If you shop wisely you can find shops on Etsy that will modify an outfit for a mans proportions at better prices. Last Winter I purchased a custom wool great coat custom made to my specifications at a reasonable price.
