I think they just look like flares, VERY flared flares.
I think they look ok actually, but I wouldn't wear them myself.

I am not a fan of pallazzo pants in general, but thought these were quite good. Whatever, they look better than the "parachute" pants style that failed back in the MC Hammer eighties. I travel often in South America and have always liked gaucho style, though, and these remind me of something Spanish/Southwestern/Gaucho - ish.
