sweater, shirtwaist, walmart sleep T's

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

sweater, shirtwaist, walmart sleep T's

Post by amtriod »

I am 80 with a beard and very long blond/white hair, hair sprayed to stay more less down my back.
I wear a sweater dress, tights, and flats, because they are very comfortable compared to very limited male styles.
I try to keep my belly flat.
I have no interest in appearing feminine but in simply showing resistance to male stereotype.
In public all adults seem apparently not to notice my style, though children do.
Women seem especially friendly and attracted to me.
I hope my style catches on with males.
I believe it would if only a few adopted it.

In warmer weather I wear shirtwaist dresses
or straight sleeveless dresses with pockets
or knee length sleep t shirts from walmarts
(inside out so the silly printing doesn't show).
and I wear inexpensive 2x pantyhose
and shorts which I can wear high to not show
or sometimes low to show.
Same remarks as above.
It's no big deal.
I would not find skirts comfortable.

I haven't seen sleep T's in the walmart around here, shame. Any pics of the sweater dresses? Or links to purchase? I am interested in trying to find a suitable style that doesn't revolve around cleavage.
