Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Perhaps there is a cultural difference based on which side of the pond one lives on. It has never been an issue when I wear a wrist watch with a suit.
A wristwatch and a suit are as combination not a problem, but a wristwatch in combination with white tie, top hat and tails or smoking is not done. In general the sufficient clocks available and at gatherings where you wear smoking or tails time doesn't matter.

Now there is someplace I haven't worn a skirt yet...
Well, believe me, they'll still take your money.
I'm sure they will, but if I hit a jackpot, the picture they'll take will be of a man in a skirt. That possibility is worth the $5 I'd be willing to spend on it.
A few(quite a few) years ago me wife & I were at a casino
in Shreveport/Bosier City, Louisiana. I was wearing one of
my Utility Kilts. I walked past a couple playing a high dollar
poker slot. Just as I walked by, the guy hit it BIG. His wife
said it was because of the Irishman walking by in a kilt.
Suffice it to say I didn't win anything but that couple was
smiling from ear to ear

The only Casino I know where one is expected to wear a dinnerjacket or white tie, is the Royal Casino, and as my name isn't Bond, James Bond... in addition thereto the Casino supermarkets in France are now called Carrefour... It was the only sort of Casino where I where I didn't more than compensate my spendings.
I've never come across any rules about men wearing jewellry and in what circumstances it is permissible or not. I've worn a watch with casual suits most of my life. Anyway such are simply convention similar to men can't wear dresses of skirts and as such are ripe candidates for being broken. After all, it's not that long ago where ear-rings on men were frowned upon and limited to one ear only, it was never really clear to me which so I wore them in both ears. Last week I wore pearl ear-rings, much to MOH's puzzlement. So just ignore the rules and wear a necklace if you want to. Who is to really say that it's forbidden, only you.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

We have a lottery in Massachusetts, so every time I have dinner, buy gasoline, or beer I wind up in a casino. And the gambling usually has priority over what the establishment is supposed to be doing.

Earrings etc. are not so uncommon. In the past it was the stash of sailors instead of a wallet. Nowadays you will see mane men wearing one or two earrings. If I'm not mistaken, if only one is worn, a code of sexual preference might be indicated. You see it also many times with (wo)men who are fully covered by tattoos. Also that is a matter of individual preference, but as the inks cause cancer not my cup of tea.

I had my ears pierced over 20 years ago and have been wearing various studs, jewels and danglies ever since. Not one adverse comment ever, but some nice compliments.
