yep tights for sure. they are warm and for me they are smoother looking than just bare legs.

I suspect you have a much brighter purple in mind, but dead cheap off-the-peg kilts come in a 'heritage of Scotland' tartan which is mainly purple. The little kilt shown fits me perfectly. Tom.

What do I wear on my legs with skirts? Here's a limited example: Yes, that was laundry day in early December, 2013.

No, I am not afraid of colour. The flash washed some of it out; the pink tights are bright enough to assault the eyeballs of onlookers and potentially do lasting damage if they don't look away in time.

@Kirbstone I had one of those Heritage of Scotland Pakistani kilts, really comfy and solid. That was at the time I even would have had dared to wear purple. It is a more subtle purple with pink black and white. The brown pleated curdory skirt looks good with Adrian Square men tights. The quality is comparable with HQ "women" tights, so they last longer.

What do I wear? Tights, of course! Especially during winter!

By the by, regarding the picture I recently posted, I wore that outfit on an outing last Saturday, and no one gave me so much as the time of day, but then, that's been pretty much the norm for me. Here's a bit of irony, while I was in Best Buy, I twentysomething lady complimented me on my pendant, so did her twentysomething boyfriend. Despite the snug pencil skirt, tights and a handbag, they mentioned my jewelry. I thought that was humorous.

Tights work well. I also find over-the-knee socks to be a bold look.
