Re: Incerun Dress
I too ordered this dress last night, will provide feedback upon its arrival.
Re: Incerun Dress
Next time you're in Costco, take a look at their 32 Degrees soft-lux dress.
The only dress I've ever bought. I think I paid $11.99.
Neat, understated, black, t-shirt top, knee length, elastic drawstring waist.
It has pockets. They call it a dress; for me it's a tunic.

Re: Pseudo skirt-suit
Thinking about ways to complete the outfit.
Button garment all the way to the top. Add a tie and a short jacket.

Note it is not one size fits all - but if toooo small could be a pencil skirt cocoon
or toooo big and a tent for Omar - fortunately there is a degree of stretch !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Take off the sleeves and it becomes the lbd that I've been wearing around the house lately, even down to the elastication around the waist.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.
Re: Incerun Dress
I have one of those, but I haven't quite made up my mind about it. It's a bit longer (two or three inches below the knee) than my normal preference and it fits rather oddly.Dust wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 1:45 am Interesting site. Never seen it before. If the size charts are accurate, it's actual American sizes. I'm assuming it's all shipped from Asia, though? Cheap cloth isn't surprising, but always something to watch out for. MB, is this the skirt you tried, by chance?

Re: Incerun Dress
It arrived. First impression is favourable, though after being squished in a bag for transport I think it needs ironing. It is a length I have no experience with (just below the knee, but not as long as mid-calf), and I have not yet worked out what footwear could possibly go with it. (I am also unused to completely sleeveless garments, so that will require some adaptation.)Myopic Bookworm wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 10:14 pm That is the first dress I've seen designed for men (other than high-fashion catwalk stuff), and it is in a style that appeals to me.
I'm not sure how it is going to look or feel in motion. I think I shall have to buy one to find out!

Re: Incerun Dress
Mine arrived today, pretty happy with the sizing, it might have been a bit tight but since I have lost so much weight due to things it fits pretty well. Well creased, could do with ironing, but then again so could the dress!

Mine too arrived and I’m actually quite impressed with it. I’ll absolutely be wearing it out in the very near future.

Re: Incerun Dress
Went for a walk last night in my new incerun dress, under a waterproof jacket! (The joys of the Scottish climate!) It is excellent and I will be buying one or two more I think. Health issues are forcing me to start exercising, well walking anyway, seems like dresses and skirts are the way ahead, so comfortable!

Re: Incerun Dress
I have 2, no 3, problems with the dresss.
Overall, the fit is good. The waist is too high for my natural waist.
Same for the belt loops - too high. Standing, the fit is really good.
Sitting down, I strain the thread holding the buttons. My waistline
is getting a bit bigger than it used to be. To me, the material could
be more stretchy as it is, basically, a 'wind-breaker' type of material.
My walking is in no way hindered when wearing the dress.
If it was made in a larger size, especially for a taller person, I would
order another one.
I ordered a couple of other items, one - the white flowy skirt - barely
goes over my hips. I will order another one but larger.
Also, the 'robe-dress'(in yellow) is quite comfortable and freeing.
I will order a second one, in Rose, but 1 size smaller. As I said, it
is quite roomy
The only draw back is waiting the 10+ days to get it

Re: Incerun Dress
I actually saw those costco dresses earlier this year, or something very similar. I immediately went and looked at them once I spotted the display.Bertino56 wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 5:19 pm Next time you're in Costco, take a look at their 32 Degrees soft-lux dress.

I have several of the 32 degrees skorts from years past.
So naturally I thought the dress would be right up my alley.
The skort is good so the dress should be too, right?
The material seemed to delicate for my taste. Maby as a night shirt it would be perfect?. I think I would have felt to exposed in it. Not sure how fabric would hold up. So I didn't get one.
Also the reality is my wife would never let me wear it to bed or any other time for that matter. Not that she lets me wear skirts either. My closet is so full of skirts now. I decided that any new skirts have to be really really something I really like, or best not get it.
In regards to the incerun dress and skirts.
They look alright, kind of close to something I might try.
But I don't care for the other gauzy, lacy, alt stuffs they sell. I'm going to stick to the practical second hand shop women's skirts for now.
