Pockets differences

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

This is certainly a way of making more of a feature of pockets:

quite a few of my skirts and shorts (dare I say shorts here?) do that pocket dangley thing below the hemline. I think that's fairly normal for a shorter skirt or shorts.

This is just me, but I find that a tad odd. With spring having arrived in my neck of the woods, I'm sure to see more than my fair share of skirts and shorts like those.
I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman.

I suppose if you cut the pockets off level with the hem then you will soon lose your car keys :)

This is what is known as a muff pocket, for whatever reason.
I have two mini skirts with muff pockets and they are quite handy - a bit like a built-in sporran.

When wearing that MUFF POCKET jean skirt make sure the left hand knows what the right hand is doing #&%$!*?

Clicking on the link:

https://picclick.com.au/Diesel-distress ... 27272.html

results in the getting more views of the skirt and WOW what an extraordinary hem length - - -
dis not be the mini-skirt the droids were looking for
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
