Tony, why not take it in tiny steps? For example, you could wear a short d3enim skirt and go down to the corner store for coffee and the Sunday paper. You will be in a skirt and in public, but the time spent will be short.

As you become emboldened, you could try running slightly longer errands while in skirts.
