Welcome, Rokje, and congratulations on wearing skirts in public.
How much of the time do you wear skirts now? Always? Just occasional outings? Something in between?
What kind of skirts and outfits do you like?
What led you to start wearing skirts? Like, was it something you'd wanted to do for a long time, and just recently you got the courage, or was there some incident that got you started, or what?
Can you post a photo?

Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.

Welcome Rokje,
Glad to see another skirt wearer come out of the woods so to speak. I am not going to ask a lot of questions just one.

Welcome from another Dutchie in the USA. The environment here is not quite as relaxed as in Europe, it is slowly getting more accepted. Even with the more conservative wind blowing now, there is some progress.
Enjoy your skirting. The more you go out in public, the more it seems to get normal. Not only for you but also for the people on your way.

My kind of skirt is the new kilt styles like the denim ones and any sturdy looking skirt above the knee. Like the denim ones.
I suddenly woke up with the idea, and decided to go for it.

Welcome!
As I recall, denim skirts have been discussed in a few threads. It has been suggested that the next garment to be popularized for men will be a knee length denim skirt.

Re: Hello from Holland
Is "Rokje" a reference to a short skirt? How do you pronounce the term?

Rokje is the diminutive of Rok = Skirt. It may be a short or a small skirt.
