FFA, the look is fine. The skirt is a bit long for me but then I genuinely like above-the-knee skirts tending towards minis. The look wouldn't draw any attention in the outside world. Colour coordination is good.

good morning sinned,

Thank you for the compliments. I like both long and short. It is a Sulu I ordered from Eveni Pacific. The price was good at only $25.

I will be wearing it out for the first time tonight. I have worn a kilt numerous times out and courage gets a little stronger every time. Tonight will be the first for this one and I am a bit nervous. By the way if I haven't said it, nice to meet you!

Good evening FFA and nice to meet you, it's half six in the evening here. Let me know where roughly you are based; I'm in historic York and when I mean historic I mean as in Vikings and so on. I'm lucky in living in such a city as it almost feels like a backwater yet on main transport lin ks o the rest of the country. It was the capital of the north and the seat of power at one time.

Anyway, if you look in Pics and Looks you will see our individual styles coming out. I won't name names as missing someone out might cause offence but character shows through in what we wear. But there are common themes in that we wear a skirt or a dress as a man and aim to present with confidence. Yes, you will feel nervous - it goes with what we do. But I have dressed ready to go out and got to the front door and looked in the mirror and decided that that skirt wasn't right then went upstairs and changed it. When I felt confident that the look was right I would exit the house. I've never taken that much care with trousers. Maybe that's one reason why skirts are a difficult choice for men - they are used to just picking up the first T-shirt, trousers and shoes, putting them on and not caring. Women have done the opposite in spades and it's not an easy frame of mind to get used to. I have over 100 skirts and I know now haw a woman can look at a wall of clothes and say that they have nothing to wear. They don't really mean it of course. What they mean is that they don't have the particular garment that suits the mood, the inner image or the style that they want to present AT THAT MOMENT. So I and many on the site care about how we look and aim to present at far better than the norm especially in a skirt. In that respect you have a lot of responsibility in your locale as you are unique in your choice of attire. So wear your skirt with pride. :D

You just missed us by a couple of months! Jenn and I took quite a few trips down that way then and stayed a fair number of nights. Last year on my vacation we visited Cave City KY and made a trip down to Bowling Green KY. In fact, I have a couple of skirts and a dress or two I purchased at the Bowling Green GoodWill store.

Unfortunately this house will thwart our plans for an extensive road trip this year, it has sucked our savings pretty low and it needs to recharge. Next year we'll try again. All that said we might find a little money to to take at least a two or three day road trip. It just all depends on how deep these closing cost go... :alien:

Feel free to thumb around the the Vacation 2016 album... It was, quite possibly the greatest time I had had in a while.

I'll shout out if we're heading that way again!

I sure appreciate the compliments. I think skirt wearing has served to lower my blood pressure pschychologically as well as physiologically.
