Introduction

If you're new to the Cafe, please grab a seat by the potted palm, settle down with a nice big latte, and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please also look here for forum principles and rules.

Well, :welcome:

I'm retired from a major airline, but not as a pilot. I do have
a Commercial AMSEL but haven't used it in about 30 years.

So grab a cup, a pastry of your choice, and grab a chair by the
potted palm. Plenty of friendly discussion around, so join in any-
where you'd like.

Methinks the "potted palm" is outgrowing it's pot. I've been a member here since 2004 and it was huge then..Also, we need to replace the rusty old latte' machine and some of the rattan chairs which are showing signs of spilled latte'... :D :D :D 8)

That's fine, but with our price structure, we only break even.
If you want new furniture, we'll have to raise our prices.
If we raise our prices, we'll probably lose some customers.

Now, if you want to donate some of your poker winnings,
I'm sure the Master Barista will not turn down the opportunity
to replace some of the furnishings at the Cafe'.
