Great collection but I'd need Finance to buy that lot!
cheaper kilts, and kilt packages can be found at http://www.thescotlandkiltcompany.co.uk
I bought an Irish tartan from there, it was only £39 at the time...

Hi, actually I mentioned Guilty Kilts a while back and inadvertently got all tangled up in a gay pro and con discussion, so I ducked out of that thread.
I noticed Guilty seemed aimed at the gay market but let's face it, kilts are neither gay njor straight, they're just cloth. And the kilts they were selling looked really neat, and the shop just off Carnaby St was handy and well stocked.
But their web site was down last time I checked-are they still going?

The only thing man cannot endure is meaninglessness.
Guilty Kilts are still functioning, they're somewhere in Carnaby Street (near Regent Street) in London. their site is http://www.guiltykilts.com, nice kilts but I can see how the gay photos would put people off, especially their flickr collection (http://www.flickr.com). Look for Guilty Kilts and see the pics for yourself...
21st Century Kilts are great, at least they did kilt suits (even if they are £800), if we have a summer this year I would wear one... I have just ordered a denim one worth £250 for £45 off EBay... I just hope I get the thing now...
The gay brigade have hijacked kilts unfortunately, but I think its the way you wear your kilt. If you are walking around bare chested with next man on your arm thru Central London, yes, you might draw attention to yourself...

Guilty Kilts is a great shop, I have a few of their kilts, they may not be the cheapest but the designs are individual and different, they are certainly well made and worth the money. The guys who run the business are attentive and extremely helpful and they don't mind if you are
straight! Lets cut the gay/straight crap - we're all guys who like to wear skirts!

There, I fixed it for you. You accidentally attached the comma to the URL.
I just checked their site and they say their rebuilding it.
You can email them for photos though.

Welcome to the forum, Kilted John, had a look at the link to your website, must visit your guest house some day. I don't have any Guilty Kilts in my own collection but from the pics I've seen on the net some of them look real cool and trendy.
Please view my photos of kilts and skirts, old trains, vintage buses and classic aircraft on http://www.flickr.com/photos/cessna152towser/

Did you check the dates on the posts you've responded to? 2008 is a while ago. I doubt anyone even cares whether they are or are not coming back. Can't you find anything new that would interest you enough to start a topic about it?Does anyone know what happened to Guilty Kilt (www.guiltykilt.com)? The site has been offline for a long time. I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

The site was still running in december 2010! I didn't want to start a new topic about it so that's why I posted it in an old topic about guilty kilt. My partner wanted to buy a kilt for my birthday for me but suddenly it was gone. Thanks for giving me a warm welcome to the forum by the way I don't speak English very well so maybe you can insult me about that too in your next post.

Re: GUILTY KILTS LONDON
Hi Alexander,
I too have no idea where Guilty Kilts has disappeared too - I have several of their kilts. Here are a couple of other sites that might be of interest, they do the more 'modern' style kilt:
http://www.skilt.co.uk
and
http://kilts.org/
I hope this is of some use and if I find out where Guilty Kilts have gone I'll let you know!
Cheers
John
