Do you wear pink tights with your kilt?

Post by Bodycon »

An interesting read from the BBC website
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland- ... e-62464709

I wonder if minikilts and pink tights will ever be a fashion thing for men?

I would if I felt like it and I do wear red tights with tartan skirts during the winter.

Certainly as UA posted: An interesting read - - -
For the most part wearing vivid colored tights matching the seasons i.e. RED or WHITE for Christmas (also February Valentines Day) GREEN for March (St Pats)
But for ordinarily as part of a costumed outfit - I would stick with the basics - BLACK or GREY
Another issue is the co-ordination of wearing sox with tights -
Use some thought least ye become another Court Jester

Caution wearing thin sheer WHITE tights showing off a bit too much leg detail - hair - veins - knobby knee caps - etc.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I wear compression tights alot of the time, But there all black,
I don't think pink would be a color for me,
No one mess's with a big guy in kilt

I just had a very disturbing vision.
The Princes, Charles, Andrew and Edward, thus attired.

Maybe prince George?

I love the irony of kilt wearing and all that clan tartan nonsense that goes with it. Mini skirts and pink tights could easily have become the "national costume", imagine that.

Funny how the truth is side-lined and lost in "history"

By George, you could be right but we haven't seen the wee fella in the Balmoral rig out that I know of.
I reckon we'd have heard the paroxysms over the cuteness factor if we had.
Ye Gods, the three kids in matching outfits, mass hysteria!
"Irony" of all that "nonsense", more pithy adjectives do spring to mind and maybe we'd have been better off following George 4's lead?
It would have cut the crap about what to wear under the damn thing anyway.

That's a cute shot above, and I'd mention, not all that far off some something I put together a few years back which I may do again. See page 50 in my "Pics and Looks" thread. Short black-and-white skirt, pink fishnets, and black heels. I may revisit that today if the skirt still fits.

rma, .... or NAVY BLUE, or DARK PURPLE. I wear the latter often in winter.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

I do not wear tights at all and do not wear kilts either. I wear skirts and dresses but do not wear tights nor pantyhose with either. I find them to be most restricting and uncomfortable.

For the most part I agree with you; especially with my unshaven legs tights of any density can become rather hot and itchy. But during the few weeks of the year my region has uncomfortably cold days, I do keep some tights around and put up with the itchy discomfort for the sake of the warmth they provide.

When the weather turns to bitter cold I just wear long (ankle length) skirts made of a heavy material. They are really warm and will not allow you to freeze. There fore I don't need tights, I do sometimes wear knee length compression stockings if it gets really bitterly cold.

Ok Fred, but would you wear pink ones with a plaid or tartan skirt?
Steve.
