Bolder Lad's TechniKilt

Post by Coder »

Welp, just ran across this design, already in their outlet:

Not sure how long they've been making this, but thought I'd share.

They stopped making them a few years ago, it's too bad I probably would have bought some. All they have left is size XS and that's not happening. :D

I have one of their women's versions, it's not bad although the strength of the lycra is pretty high so it's not quite as comfortable as it could be. You can order them custom in a variety of prints/tartans, but unfortunately they come with shorts built in.

The men's I think are not, but the equivalent women's are definitely skorts.

I asked and you can customer order the kilt pattern here: https://bolderathleticwear.com/collecti ... lder-skirt

The downside is it's almost $120 and they are skorts, if that's a negative (it is for me). I suppose $120 is not bad for something with a decent amount of manual work and custom made to your measurements. The custom skirt patterns are less expensive and also have an option for no shorts underneath.
