Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
I received an email from Union Kilts yesterday, advising of their upcoming sale. For folks in the UK this is an opportunity to buy without horrifying freight and import costs that are often incurred when buying across the pond.

There are some very tempting offers there, but I'm not exactly short of kilts and skirts at present, and Skirtcraft unisex skirt that I (and others here) have ordered should be arriving shortly, so I might have to give this a miss .
Very Prompt reply to my email by Richard Gunning @ Union Kilts
My inquiry about custom lengths and pocket less features was replied with the sales promo
applied only to what appears to be orthodox kilt stock on hand or ready to make kilts with
no alteration to the original design - waist being the only variable factor.
A good deal and savings but the original design does not suit (kilt) me !
Was looking at the Claymore and Gladiator kilt design without pockets.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
