"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Does anyone have a transcript or a summary of the interview?

It features a reporter (in suit and necktie) interviewing a utilikilted postman, at what looks like an outdoor kilt market somewhere in America. The postman explains how his female colleagues have the choice of trousers, shorts, skirts, culottes and skorts as part of their compulsory uniform, while men have just trousers or shorts, which he thinks is restrictive. He reckons something like the Utilikilt he's wearing would be more comfortable while doing his rounds, and he's campaigning to have one designed and made available as part of the uniform, but his superiors say there's no demand. Of course the usual question gets asked and the postman says yes he does.

Well - it's hardly back in the Precambrian, is it.

Apologies!
While not precambrian I thought the video clip was more recent.
It is noteworthy however of just how long our quest is taking to
wear skirts freely albeit kilts.
The clothing manufacturers are still making skirts and if the fair
sex wants to wear the pants that leaves more skirts for us; only
concession being wish that they made them larger (my size).
Progress on the skirted/kilted front is painfully slow.

Brandy:

Thanks for the 'Paul Harvey'; the rest of the story or follow-up.

Hope he has more success this year in his venture at the USPS Convention.
