Up a tree in a Kilt

Post by Miket »

I spent the afternoon in the garden in a kilt which my wife considers "naff", a camouflage kilt, doing my bit to tidy up our orchard. This involved climbing a ladder to cut down some rather large bits of tree which were hanging over our local LIDL's car park. As I was up above the level of the hedge,I was clearly visible to all those Sunday shoppers coming out of Lidl's. The only comments - I think - came from a group of youths, sitting ioon the ground against the wall of the store drinking their alcohol. They must, after about an hour of me running up and down trees, have realized I wasn't wearing shorts! I must say it was the most comfortable way of working on the trees!
