Commonwealth Games
Commonwealth Games
The Commonwealth Games opened in Birmingham, England, last night. This is a BBC news item on the tartan and the tartan's designer (hopefully those outside the UK can read the news item):- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-62340507

Re: Commonwealth Games
That was a good read. What on earth is up with that half-tartan, half-leopard skirt she's wearing though?

Re: Commonwealth Games
I like the tartan but, being blue, that was a given with me.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

Re: Commonwealth Games
Yeah me too Dennis.
I have every intention of trying to get one of the skirts too.
As a "tartan" the difference in the sett pattern really puts it out there.
It fits with my jaded attitude to the myth of the "Clan Tartan" but may be rather pricey.

It's probably readable outside the UK if you edit the .co.uk to .comquantum wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 7:57 am The Commonwealth Games opened in Birmingham, England, last night. Re: Commonwealth Games
I was originally a black or blue person, my wife encouraged me to wear other colours. For some reason I have very little green or orange in my collection. My wife doesn't wear much red but doesn't mind me wearing it.
