Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
but I did notice that the wide waistband does tend to ride down without hips for support.
I've found with some of them the fit/sizing varies a little depending on the fabric color. If I need a little extra "stay up" power I've found that folding down the wide waistband does the trick most of the time, it makes it a bit more grippy.
I have all the colors now except purple, but I wear the black and brown the most often. The brown skirt is my favorite and goes with a lot of other shirts I usually wear.
Thanks for the belt suggestion! Why do you prefer the skirt over the kilt?
Nothing wrong with the kilt, I just like the skirts more since there is more color selection and I can have a hem snap in the middle. I have the black, grey and brown skirts. I love the fabric.
