OK.
A lot of fear, hostility and prejudice is based on ill conceived assumption.
The black kid looking at the car must be intending to steal it or the guy in the dress must be gender-fluid.
The key word in both is "must", and we all know that both are equally wrong.
It is the assumptions that society make which must be removed and they will only be removed when challenged.
Personally, I don't give a tinker's cuss but if I hear it stated, I will point out the truth of the matter.
If stating that truth gives offence, well that just is not my problem.
I would also apply that standard to life in general and not just the trivia of how I choose to dress.
