Many of us heard about this guy. He passed last year from brain cancer.

At first I saw the name and thought that I didn't know the guy and he was just another American political nonentity. But then as I read the article I do remember reading about him but it was a few years ago in my early skirting years. I admired his nerve for dressing so, as I thought then, outrageously, but then I was a lot more naive then. I now understand a lot more his motivation but his dressing is still not to my taste, being too little-girlish. The world is sadder and a little more grey for his passing. We need more like him at the very extreme to make it more acceptable for us in the centre ground. Thank you for bringing this article to our notice.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.
