Teenager wearing a dress harassed by inbred Tennessee hillbilly

Post by Freedomforall »

This physically grown man has the mental capacity of a two year old. He should be arrested for assault on a minor. Western society is circling the drain with no hope of redemption. This guy needs to be punched into the next world. Makes me so angry. Oh wait!! Why should we expect any more from a Tennesse redneck hillbilly that probably sits at home watching child porn.

The source outlet here is highly questionable, and even given that there is room for question unless the actual verbiage and posturing was caught on camera.

From an initial read, this involves deeply trans-* behaviours, and there are lots of folks who find that disturbing. Acting on that, however, is what makes all the difference which is why it's important to gather all sides to the story. Recall that in the United States we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

The proper answer to the alleged advance would have been for the youngster to immediately throw the issue back at the accuser by simply commenting, "What's your problem?" Then deal with it where the chips fall.

Of note is that the security cameras would have caught the whole thing and recorded it.

I'm usually all for cautious source checking, and the one I'm posting below is not the best either, but it appears to have more data and if indeed the BOD fired this CEO, it would tend to support the stories authenticity. Nor is trans pertinent, the response is beyond the pale --I'm sad it was even a story, save the problem with hate crimes that have become so prevalent in the US. However, I cannot dismiss all of TN in an Al Capp type stereotype of Dogpatch, KY.

There are multiple sources for the story including many local. This happened in Franklin, TN. It is just south of Nashville. The area is very affluent. Ashley Judd and many other stars have homes there.

This is a local news station out of Nashville. You can find more sources by searching his name or CEO fired Tennessee.

The guys name is Sam Johnson. He looks at the teenager in a way that strikes me as extremely bizarre.

This stuff happens to me from time to time. Normally I just ignore it and for some reason it never makes national news.

Literally, all of the derogatory remarks that were made I have had made to me, with the exception of the hairy chest (I don't have a hairy chest), but I've been called an idiot, embarrassing, faggot, disgusting, etc etc.

It's gotten worse too here lately.

I notice these kind of stories usually seem to originate in more progressive corners of the nation, Amber and I speculate that one possible reason for this is the bigots are more threatened in those areas than they would be in a locale such as where I live.

I gotta say, the kid looks great in that dress. I wish I had the stones to pull that off.

Maybe Tennessee, generally speaking, but Franklin? I've been through Franklin wearing a dress and found the local vibe to be very positive. Shoot, you never know, that kid might have saw me four years ago and got the idea planted in his head! :D Ya never know man! 8)

Well here's a little something I hope will cheer everyone up... I've been on business this week in central Kentucky, about 30 minutes south of Lexington, I made a stop at the local Walmart here for some provisions and came upon this bus sitting in the driveway... in Kentucky...

I had a nice chat with the couple that were staying in the bus. The guy was from Kentucky, the girl was from Washington state, while I was talking, quite a few people that I thought looked like they might start up trouble, actually offered support, friendly conversation, donations, etc.

There's good and bad everywhere. What we focus on is a matter of choice.... or perhaps I just live in a sh!thole.... *shrugs*

But to get back to the OP, while what happened was pretty lousy, one can only wonder how it would have worked out if the kid just ignored the heckler?

I read about the story yesterday which is all over social media. It was good that the knuckledragging CEO was given the boot for his heinous behavior.

Getting shot is a possibility no matter what. Most [men] that get shot aren't wearing a dress.

However, escalating the confrontation is what usually leads to a higher probability of getting shot, or even just injured in some other way (e.g. punched in the face).

Simply ignoring the heckler greatly reduces the odds of the confrontation becoming physical.

* * *

There is one part of the video that kinda bugs me...

Towards the end when the bystanders ate trying to settle the man down, they say "come on man... they're just kids"...

While I understand the sentiment, to me this sends the signal that only children should be allowed to wear what they want, or in other words, had this been a grown man in a dress, all bets are off.

No... people shouldn't harass kids, but they shouldn't harass anyone else either.

In fact that "kid" better cool his jets and learn how to take a little heckling in the chin, because he's *almost* an adult, and when he becomes an adult he's more likely to be physically assaulted for wearing a dress, as in our society adult men are without value and expendable.

Ignore the haters.

Just sayin...

Moon has it precisely correct here.

There is no need for harassment of anyone by anyone, and when it does happen it's safest to just let it slide. First and foremost, don't escalate the situation. If the guy was being a stupid jerk in public he got what he deserved; make stupidity hurt -- and if the kid was egging the situation on that's no excuse.

That's right, and by the time the camera got rolling, the situation was in full on conflict mode. We just don't know what led to it.

It could have been a mumbled "look at that fag" under his breath, as they passed by, where they kid may have whipped around and said something to fire back. We just don't know.

I know it's hard, and sometimes I don't follow my own advice here, mainly because you just want to rip their head off, but nevertheless we must endeavor to keep a cool head, it may save your life!

While I consider myself very lucky to not have had any kind of situation like this, it is still a possibility but as Moon has said the best way to defuse the situation is to move on and do not engage the the perp when I go out.
I wear skirts and tops from the ladies side of the store as well as dresses when I go out. I have only had one incident happen when I first started to go out. It was one of religious types who think everyone is going to Hell if they don't do what they think the Lord says about anything at all. She worked at Wal-Mart. She told me I was going to Hell if I didn't repent of my sins of wearing woman's clothes. I said "Judge not lest ye be judged as well." The woman in line behind me complimented my skirt outfit and said some people should not be allowed to work with the public.

From experience, that's frequently from where the problem vectors in from. Also, it's frequently a case of too much alcohol or other "recreational substances".

In the former, if engaged, I have the wits and capability to shred the interloper with his own dogma. That'll usually shut them up when you best them at their own game, but in the latter case, avoidance is usually the best avenue.

And, yes, "Let he without sin cast the first stone." is a good countermeasure to "Christians", which is the other form of "Judge not lest ...".

The secondary comment of, "some people should not be allowed to work with the public" was dead on.

If heaven means an eternity with people like that...

... hard pass!

I'll keep wearing my feminine clothes.

I've tried that too, but I find that quoting scripture in a debate such as this is rather pointless as for every passage that may help my case, there is at least one that condemns it.

The level of contradictions makes the book practically useless these kinda of arguments.

When I get dealt the religious card, on ANY matter, [not just skirts], I politely fire back, "I'm not a Chrsitian". I used to be afraid to say that out loud, but these days the words practically fall from my tongue.

After the events of the last five years, it has become very easy to publicly distance myself from that religion, it seems to have lost all of its virtue.
