Good bye to Doris Day
Doris Day, the Academy Award-winning singer of "Que Será, Será" and a Golden Age of Hollywood movie icon, died on Monday at 97 from complications of pneumonia, according to her foundation.

Yes, I was a great fan of hers. A good age, one would say. She gave a lot of pleasure to millions world-wide.

I actually thought she had already died, but realized I had confused her with Debbie Reynolds. I remember her from her TV series and from a movie with Rock Hudson. I wasn’t too familiar with her other accomplishments, but she was a lovely lady. I understand she didn’t ever want to do the TV show but was trapped into the contract by her manager who absconded with her money as well.
