You are your own advocate

Post by Uncle Al »

I saw this on FaceBook and it applies to men wearing skirts
and kilts in their everyday life.
Dale Carnegie wrote:"Inaction breeds doubt and fear.
Action breeds confidence and courage.
If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it.
Go out and get busy."

An odd thing about being human is that we tend to play head games with ourselves. I have a very nice Survival model UK in khaki that is probably the Dockers version of a kilt. Sometimes I hesitate to wear it because it just looks too nice. Its not a rough and tumble appearance. I wore it all day Saturday running errands, mowing the lawn, and etc. As I've said before, I can't get used to suburbia, they will have to get used to me.
You don't get to judge me by your standards. I have to judge me by mine.
