New Moderator

Post by Bob »

I am pleased to announce that crfriend is now a moderator at SkirtCafe! He is an active contributing participant to our community, and has shown his wisdom and level-handedness numerous times.

Of course, I hope that he will not have to break up any flame wars.

Good call Bob!

I reckon Carl will make another excellent moderator here.

Let's hope there's not too much work for him to do...

Have fun,

Ian.

That is good news. I was thinking the role of moderator was too much for one person when things get a little crazy. But - as has already been said - if all goes as it should - this forum needs very little in the way of active moderation. So I hope the moderators of this forum have many happy years ahead of them - just twiddling their thumbs . . . .

Thanks, lads, for the words of encouragement.

I really do hope that I won't have to put the "mod hat" on very often -- and historically, it looks like it was reasonably rare for Bob to have to put his on, which is "a good thing". If I do, however, I'll do my very best to be even-handed and professional about it.
