Should there be a forum for trading information on making skirts/kilts?

I'd say that depends on how many of the folks here are into DIY projects and can handle a sewing-machine, or want to learn.

I'm tempted right off to vote in the affirmative, but I suspect watching to see how much attention the notions gets would be worthwhile.

I'd participate. Lots of technical details to discuss.

I'm up for discussing sewing and the making of garments.

The only reason for having a specific forum for this topic would be so the threads don't become buried by other non-sewing issues.

At least that's all I could think of.

But if one shows up, I'll post in it! :D

In the meantime, what if we start a thread for a specific pattern so several members can give input, ask questions, and share experiences as well as the final product?
