Indeed he has my thanks already and is settling in well. He's not gotten dragged into any matters requiring consensus yet, but will, and I have confidence in his mettle.

Hi Anthony,

Time for a belated vote of thanks for stepping into the void I had unintentionally left by my absence. I am sure you will already have discovered how open and consensus-based moderation is here and I believe the forum is all the stronger for it.

Ian! How nice to read you again! How've you been?

Anthony is standing very well, and given that both Al and I am under intense stressors at the moment, Anthony has been in the middle of things quite a bit. It's worked out well.

We miss your horn, of course, but it is what it is and life goes on.
