I've seen people posting from "smart"phones on another phpbb powered site I visit (and where I'm a moderator). You can usually tell by the strange (incorrect) words autocomplete imbeds in their posts. They are too numerous to even think about editing. :blue:

I suspect the "strange (incorrect) words" are as much a measure of the individual making the post as they are of the software. We all know that autocomplete generates bloopers; some of us check and correct, others do not value their own posts sufficiently to do that...

My own experience of Tapatalk (as a user) is that it really added nothing that was not already available, but that every time they changed ("upgraded") it, it got worse. It no longer has memory space on my phone or Caroles tablet.

I also know that moderators on at least a couple of forums I use have stopped supporting it due to the administrative overhead.
