Skip, how's it going?

Skip, how goes the weight-loss?

I hope that is not a rude or inappropriate question. Please feel free to ignore this inquiry if it is not a matter for public discussion.

I ask, only because I care and would like to offer you encouragement and applause. I've been quite impressed at the progress you have reported so far, and i wish you well.

:cheer: Chris, I've lost about 60 pounds now, it's slowed down quite a bit but to take it off too quickly can be hazardous to my health. The diet is exactly the same. Nothing changed or added. I have no problems with folks asking me about this, I'm as happy as I've been in a long time and love looking in the mirror. I just bought a bariatric bathroom scale so I can get on it weekly to watch my progress. :):ninjajig: :cheer:

Just a start

60 pounds is great, it doesn't change my look much tho. When you start weighing 400 pounds, 60 is not that much of a loss. I WILL continue on this diet tho, even if it has plateaus like its in right now. Thanks for your congrats. :)

congratulations, Skip! :cheer:

73 pounds takes quite a bit of persistance, and I'm glad to see you've got it in you :)

Here's a quick thought for you: What if you took a photo of yourself wearing the same exact outfit that you have on in your avatar at the same location, and then created a simple animation comparing the old avatar with the new one?

Just an idea :)

Animation

2 reasons. 1. I don't know how to do that as I am woefully computer ignorant beyond typing or c/p'ing. 2. My Orange skirt falls off me now, it used to be tight at my waist when standing, I haven't taken it in, and if standing in it now, it goes right to my ankles as soon as I stand up. The newer skirts I'm wearing now are much smaller in the waist with elastic back bands.

Thanks for the suggestions tho. I'm heading out to Las Vegas on the 10th of July for some vacation time skirted, I plan to be there for up to a month either playing in, or watching the World Series of Poker at the Rio Hotel and Casino. I bought a one way ticket so there's no planned time of return. That time of the year is the slow time for Las Vegas so finding cheap hotel rates will be easy for me. I'm only taking 3 pair of bifurcated lower body wear so skirting will be the norm for me there. I'm taking a pair of exercise sweatpants, 2 pair of swim trunks and that's it for bifurcated. I'm also taking a digital camera so I'll be bringing plenty of unbifurcated wear pictures back with me. Probably, I'll use one of those, posing in front of some Vegas hotel for my new avatar. :)
