Dwayne Hickman, ‘Dobie Gillis’ star, dead at 87.
Hickman passed away in Los Angeles on Sunday following a battle with Parkinson’s disease, his family confirmed, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was 87.

I remember him and his 'antics'. Quite an actor!

Sorry, UA, Fred, that still doesn't explain who he is and what he is famous for. Obviously unknown outside of the US of A.

A few years before my time, but he was in a popular early 60's sit-com...watched it a bit in re-runs. Bob Denver (later on Gilligan's Island) was also in it.

I was born 1954 so sitcoms were not exactly my thing then. I also don't think it was ever shown over here but I could be wrong as it was a long time ago.
