Fuel injectors

Post by Freedomforall »

Had a fuel injector start leaking the other day and decided to replace them all while I have it all apart. No one had them in stock. Just hoping my memory of how to put it all back does not fade before the parts arrive.

With modern cars so embellished with colossal air filters and the like, access like your pic. remains a distant memory going all the way back to my 1970 Triumph 2.5 PI straight six, which had readily accessible fuel injectors easily replaced by an amateur.

Not so today, but I've gone common-rail turbo-diesel anyway.
