In reality, each vaccine needs a large scale trial before it is released.
Many folks, anxious for a vaccine, would consider the elites getting it first unfair. But certainly if they will mandate it for many people, they need to be willing to get it themselves.
I think the humor only works if you suspect that the vaccine will be more dangerous than not being vaccinated, so it won't work for many.
