I have been into bikes for as long as I can remember...starting with old mopeds ridden on the beach. Though I had a hiatus for afew years, then I got a job in Nottingham city centre and the car journey was horrendous, so I got myself a Kawasaki KDX 200, which was a flying machine, and great in traffic...I then had several bikes until I settled for a Ducati ST2, which I bought in 2006, I finally sold it last year after deciding that my reactions weren't as sharp as they were, and I could no longer emulate Barry Sheene, my luck would run out one day.

These days I have a 1964 BSA C15 250, which I restored in 2003 and a little Kawasaki 2 stroke trail bike. Both are great just tootling round the North York moors at a sedentary pace on a sunny day, preserving both my licence and my old life!

Never in a skirt though!
