Very clever indeed, but such tech. comes at a hefty price, no doubt. Not being a cramped city dweller I can only admire the inventiveness &c.

Can appreciate the emphasis placed on having a strong ceiling. 300 lbs of bed would hurt if it crashed down on you. But I think it may have a place in the "tiny homes" movement.

Tiny homes = tiny minds! I think the idea is not yet ready for the market. From what I saw it looks like it would not be a good idea I can see a lot of maintenance coming to anyone who gets one.

Actually, as routine maintenance, it would be very efficient. There is but a fraction of the roofing to maintain, and that could be then have asphalt shingles replaced with long lasting metal at an affordable cost. Painting would be cheap. Plumbing minimal. And I think there is much to be said for divesting one's self of "things" and filling one's life with "people". I would not choose it, as I am a bit of a "packrat", but having a grudging admiration for those who do. But if it had closet space for all my skirts...who knows?

It would still be a tiny home, but it just wouldn't have room for me to live there...
