2011 is the third year of the Donor Bridge North Texas giving day.
Thanks to…The Communities Foundation of Texas, Hoblitzelle Foundation,
The Meadows Foundation, Rees-Jones Foundation, and an Anonymous Donor,
Matching Funds of $1,000,000.00

have been made available to Non-Profit organizations that have signed up to participate in the “2011 North Texas Giving Day”. On Thursday September 15, 2011, the North Texas Chapter –American Theatre Organ Society is taking part in Get Up and Give! North Texas Giving Day. Every donation of $25.00 or more, will be matched if you donate through http://www.donorbridgetx.org.

The DONORBRIDGE program awards the entire amount of the matching funds to the participating Non-Profits in North Texas. Please visit http://www.donorbridgetx.org anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., search for our non-profit and click the “Donate Now” button. Your donation will go a long way in helping us to upgrade the chapter’s 3/18 Wurlitzer to better accommodate the requirements expressed by several well known national artists. The principal complaint is that the key action is not fast enough for the spirited music that they play. The projected cost to replace the current Hall Effect system with original type key contacts and associated hardware is $2,000.00 not including labor costs or any unforeseen glitches. If 40 people will donate $25.00 then with the matching funds, the projected cost will be met. If more than 40 people make donations, then the ‘unforeseen glitches’ will not matter. They will be covered.

Donations, which are tax deductable, are accepted from anywhere in the world and Credit Cards are gladly accepted. Please tell your friends and relatives of this great opportunity to help promote the Theatre Organ, and our programs in the North Texas area, for years to come.

Thanks!

Al
