Misleading advertising
I was reading my local newspaper (San Francisco Chronicle in the old fashioned smashed tree version) when I saw a Bloomingdale's ad with the following misleading headline:
MINIS & MEN'S
One's heart beats faster thinking some enlightenment may have come over mass retail. Alas, the text below proclaims "The new mini is the perfect base for an oversized and charmingly boyish button-down in plaid or chambray." Below that is a picture of an attractive young woman in a short shirt and a baggy shirt with oversize pockets.
Sigh.
